By which command do you run this configuration dialog exactly ?
Please run in terminal:
$ kcmshell khotkeys
try to perform the delete action and report back terminal output.

I just tested on my machine and deleted the "hello world" action from the "Examples" without issue, I also rebooted into Orion (I usually use Scorpion) and tested it there with the same results. I know this doesn't really help much but just thought I'd let the devs know in case it helps.

We are not able to reproduce too, thanks for the report.

As it's not easily reproducible, we guess it's a TDE related glitch depending on a specific khotkeys configuration. You could edit the '$HOME/.trinity/share/config/khotkeysrc' config file and remove manually all references to this particular action.
