When booting Q4os I get this error : Sound server fatal error:
cpu overload, aborting
this is only on Q4os
Which I don't think has any affect on the system..I have other sound problems but they are also on my other operating systems...eg loud noise on you tube videos etc..

Please specify your hardware, at least CPU and RAM size. Run following terminal commands and put output here to analyze:
$ dpkg -s pulseaudio | grep -i status
$ dpkg -s rtkit | grep -i status
$ uname -a

If you could post the output of inxi -F it would describe your system fully, you may need to install inxi first.

I don't think I will be able to help on ths as it is Pi and I do not yet have a box for testing...
Secondly could you surround your terminal output in the post with code blocks
your text here
as it will make it more readable (or maybe it's just me )
And also if you could post the output from the commands the dev team requested too (they are more likely to be able to help with this)

We would recommend you to check 'rtkit' package. It could be the source of audio system issues, please see this topic http://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=5246#p5246
