Do you mean it does nothing when you double click it? or you don't get context menu when you right click it? or something else?

You could try this (from your home directory) :-
cd .local/share/Trash/files/
rm *
cd ../info
rm *
cd ~
that should clear anything that is pending in the trash and should all be ok from there.

Okay thank you that worked. But now other shortcuts are not working. When I click on My Computer shortcut, I get an error saying: Error KIOExec Malformed URL system:/
In the I right click on the files associations in control panel, but says Konqueror executable is not found.

Hmm.. I haven't had this error myself but I would try re-installing konqueror and see if that helps

Tried that.....nothing. I did find this though:http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=996971
In the file associations link, Konqueror executable is missing. I might need to find the location of the Konqueror executable. I can't find it though.

/opt/trinity/bin/konqueror

Thank you. If I choose to open through Konqueror it says: TEDInit could not launch 'Konqueror'.:
Could not find 'Konqureror' executable.
This is getting annoying. I might have to reinstall Q4OS

If you do I suggest that you do the install, add any apps, do the kcmodules unblock, then install system back. Have a look at the recent thread on Clonezilla. Before you make any more changes create a restore point so that you can recover to good known point in time in a matter of minutes.

I'd say that's pretty good advice if you will be changing your system a lot, a couple of alternatives that I often do would be run anything you are testing either in a virtual-box or in a separate installation (I have three q40s installs on this pc main/lamp/test) and what I do with virtual-box is set-up a single installation with all updates and then export to ova so it can be re-installed in a couple of minutes when I need to.
One benefit of having multiple installations is being able to look on another partition/virtual-box to see where program/log files should be etc.

Thank You both for your help. I had backed up before I did a reinstall, and fifteen minutes later It like it never happened. I'll take a look at clonezilla. I should use virtualbox next time I want to change something.

Clonezilla might be a bit difficult, try Systemback first.

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502 If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.
