I am trying to use an image for a user in Control Centre -> Security & Privacy -> Password & User Account, but when I click the blank image it gives me a warning dialog saying "Your administrator has disallowed changing your image.", is there a setting somewhere to allow this?

Strange, I can freely change user image in the way you have written.

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502 If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

That is strange, I wonder what I have changed to stop that from being allowed??? I will have to check on another installation and see if that works, Thanks for letting me know

I have obviously done something on this installation to prevent users from adding images as I tried other installations and they work fine. Thank you Rademes.
So the question now would be how could I prevent users from changing their logo as described in post #1, hopefully I can find a way to revert whatever I have done as I don't really want to wipe this installation down because it's my main "work" installation.
note to myself Always use other installations for testing stuff!!

I get the same message as you Dai. I can't specify an image for my Login ID either. I can't think of anything that I've done to prevent this.

First run in terminal:
$ sudo kcmodules --unlock
Go to Control Panel -> System Administration -> Login Manager -> User -> User Image Source -> Admin

Thanks Q4osteam, I changed the setting to user, rebooted and still cannot change the user image on some of my systems, I have tested 4 64 bit installations 2 work 2 don't, I checked 3 32bit installations and they all work, I don't remember changing anything regarding users, but that's not to say I haven't.
@DavidB
Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one It is a bit strange but hopefully we can find a solution somewhere, I did find a temporary solution by setting the User Image source to User and then I can manually replace ~/.face.icon with an appropriate png image. Not good to have to manually do this but it is a short term fix for anyone wanting an image there.

I found it! set user image sources to User, Admin and it should work
