I need a firewall that can block all outgoing connections, exept from specific programs.
what is the goto solution for this, using q4os

A firewall is normally used to block INcoming connections. The default Out/In is Allow All/Deny All.

ufw with gufw to manage it is one of the most popular and simple linux solutions.

If you are planning on denying outbound connections be prepared for a learning curve smile
