Often used,, but silly problem when capturing & printing something small, like a mailing-sticker-label.
The printer output is a FULL-PAGE ! Get out the scissors and tape ! You have a 8x11 label for a 6inch package : >)
Where is this happening ?
Viewing the full screen, then the snapshot is selected & taken, then displayed at the original screen size.
There are a few printing options,,, but ZOOM to full page is NOT one of them !
The printer-control-options do allow margin settings, and the printout is fitted to that size. ( by the printer ? ).
The Spectacle HELP text shows the print parameters,,, but no ZOOM-full-page-size !
Work-around involves saving the snapshot, then using a image display program to print the image.
Popular Imaging programs display 'previews' of printer output.
Have I missed something here ?
Maybe another snap-'shotter' program ?

Spectacle is a good tool to take and save screenshots. It should not have a print option.
If I need to print one, I use GIMP or XNView MP, depending on whether I need first to make complex modifications or at most slight ones.
Both can take screenshots too, although they are less flexible.
You could even paste a screenshot into a document using your favorite office suite and resize it at your will.
Otherwise, you could look at the output of `apt search screenshot`.

Just came across this while surfing around some posts.
OP probably has this solved by now, but if not, and / or if others looking for another idea ...
Use Flameshot, select screenshot area, use all the icons that appear / surround the screenshot to mark it up if / or as needed with arrows, boxes, text, etc.
Then look for the icon that says "Choose an app to open the capture". It's the icon with an Up Arrow (hover over each for tooltips). Or on the keyboard you can just type "Ctrl+O" to open your app of choice.
A good one would be Okular, then you can just click File > Print, click the Options or Properties button, then choose the Page size. One of the options in there is "Custom" so you can set literally whatever size you want to print it as. Then Print. Simple schmimple!
