Yesterday a friend of mine also installed Q4OS (Basic) but he experienced some issues:
1. After restarting/shutting down the system showed some message 35s / 1min 30s, means it only restarted after 1min 30s. Is this normal? For my system it's nearly rebooting instantly...
2. Sound didn't work: After clicking on the sound symbol on bottom right there was the following message - "No input or output devices found."
After the PC was running for some time the sound worked but after a restart it was gone again?
3. System freezes after restart: Sometimes the system just got stuck after a restart & you could only see the desktop with the icons but not the taskbar on bottom & you couldn't click on anything...
It's the following Mini-PC (unfortunately I can not post a link):
NiPoGi AK1PLUS Alder Lake-N N95 Mini PC (up to 3.4 GHz) 8GB DDR4 256GB SSD, Micro PC, 2.5 Inch SSD/Gigabit Ethernet/2.4+5G WiFi/BT4.2/4K @ 60Hz UHD Dual Display Mini Computer Office/School
Maybe some of you has encountered similar problems?
Thanks,
Yannick

Ad1 What service does emit the message ?
Ad2 What application does show the message ? A screenshot would be helpful.
Ad3 That looks like a hardware issue, or it's hardware related at least.

Hi! Thanks for coming back.
We created a bootable usb stick with the Q4OS imager for windows with the newest Q4OS release. Booted from stick & installed Q4OS basic via Aquarius Plasma live.
Ad1: No idea which service was related... On the picture you can only see the 'timer' 35s / 1min 30s unfortunately
Ad2: I can not attach a picture but it's shown after you click on the sound symbol on bottom right.
Ad3: That's not good...
Cheers,
Yannick

You are now allowed to attach files up to 300kB size. Optionally, you can ship files via email support@q4os.org
Ad1 What is the exact message reading ? Is there some more info instead of the timer ? You can make a photo and attach it here.
Ad2 Please attach a screenshot here.

Hi!
I just had it on my own machine:
Job cups-browsed.service/stop running (18s / 25s)
Not sure if this was the same for my colleague but there it even was up to 1min 30s.
Cheers,
Yannick
