Hello! I am new to Q4OS and am still learning how to use it. I installed softmaker office 2021 as a deb. file by double clicking on the file. Now I need to uninstall it and I tried sudo apt-get --purge autoremove packagename, but i did not work. What else can I do? Thank you a lot!

What do you mean by "did not work"? Did you see an error message? Which one?
Are you sure you used the correct "packagename"? Otherwise you could try apt list --installed packa* to get the list of installed packages whose names begin with packa

Thank you for your promptitude. It did not work, i.e the package could not be found (softmaker-office-2021_1068-01_amd64).

The name of the package is probably shorter than that. Use the tip I gave in my previous message (e.g. with softmaker*).

Should be to uninstall, sudo apt remove softmaker-freeoffice-2021
or sudo apt remove softmaker-office-2021

Thank you all for helping me. I used „sudo apt remove softmaker-freeoffice-2021” as suggested and finally I got rid of softmaker.
