issues installing Q4OS Aquarius Live Plasma graphics / reboot issues.

Hello,

I have a HP Elitebook 8560p with maxed out corei7 4core gen2 running at 2.2 (3.0Ghz turbo)  8gig ram with ssd and system reports

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Seymour [Radeon HD 6400M/7400M Series] for graphics - (which is what system is using)

when using the live plasma environment to install while using the docking station and attached dell U2414H 17 inch display, when setting max resolution for the display 1920x1080 at 60 hz the scaling is way off, as is the refresh which flickers badly -- it still syncs but fine details flicker

when installing from 64bit trinity install cd and picking plasma as the display manager after reinstalling in the system profiler the problem is gone, everything works as normal no graphical issues.

additionally

if you do

sudo shutdown -r now -- the system reboots normally

however if you pick reboot from the application launcher  the reboot hangs at 'your system is rebooting' along with the time and date.
to get the system to proceed you need to hold the power in to get it to shut down. pressing ctrl alt del does not work.

Re: issues installing Q4OS Aquarius Live Plasma graphics / reboot issues.

Hello.

To reboot the system, type the following command (as user, not root)

systemctl reboot

To shut down the system, type the following command (as user, not root)

systemctl poweroff

If these commands give you an error, copy them from the terminal and paste them into your message.
