Wrong monitor refresh rate.

Good day!
I have installed Q4OS 4.7 Gemini Trinity x64.
When I open settings:/Peripherals/ then Display, I always have wrong monitor refresh rates (attachment). No 60Hz, no 75Hz... Only 50, 51, 52, 53.... As result, I can not set up proper monitor refresh rate.

I have ASUS VA24DQ monitor which supports 60 and 75Hz refresh rates and connected using HDMI interface.

Yes, we can confirm this issue, it's not Q4OS specific, but Trinity bug.

What's the output of

xrandr

Launch konsole and run that. If the output shows the desired rate, you can set it with something like

xrandr --output HDMI-1 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60

change the values to reflect your system's.

Yes, we can confirm this issue, it's not Q4OS specific, but Trinity bug.

Do Trinity PSB builds include these patches ? So do we need to install Debian with the latest Trinity PSB and test it on a hardware affected by this bug ?

PSB does not include the patch yet, but you can download the patch from that link above and apply before building it.
So you could install PSB on Debian and then rebuild tdelibs with the specified patch

Well, such testing will take a time. Since we're pretty busy now, we'll do it when we get a chance.

Sure, no problem.
If we create a specially built PSB package with the patch, would that help making the test faster?

@q4osteam: any update on eventual testing? If the fix is good, we would like to include this into the upcoming R14.1.2 TDE release.

We haven't tested 14.1.2 on amd64/i386 so far.
