That looks like damaged installation media, or did you unmount install media some way ?

Re: please help,i can not install Q4OS

This happened to me several times with 4.10, and again with 4.14, but yesterday I got q4os installed. The difference was that I created the installation media using the "dd" command, on its own USB stick. Previously I had used a program called multibootusb to create a boot medium holding several distros, and all the others installed from that.

When I tried to search the internet I saw this complaint lots of times, on this forum and elsewhere, but no solutions.

Well the solution is use dd or a front-end for dd, and not use a multi-boot medium. I don't know why q4os won't install of such a medium, but this is the answer!

Do you think it depends on the Version? I have the 9.2.0 and host system Peppermint Os 10.
whatever boot of ISO (other distro too) I copied on the USB key, if it worked, freezed or failed installation.
Thank you for the suggestion, i think should be multiboot that is not well supported.
I burned my key with unetbootin and everythings works!!
Now I have an old EEEPC with 512mb RAM, CPU atom N450 perfectly working, with a system similar to Windows that starts in a min.
THANK YOU.
