[Solved] Q4OS 4.12 with MPV v0.33.0?

Hello,

Q4OS 4.12 (as of May 2023) gets (via Synaptic) mpv v 0.33.0 - of Nov 22, 2020.
But there is a security fix release of v. 0.33 out: mpv v 0.33.1 - of April 5, 2021 - see https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/releases

Why doesn't this fix apply; is it because oldstable Bullseye had alredy ,closed the gates'?

Could i try sudo apt update?

Debian Bullseye mpv version is 0.32.0-3, see https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/mpv

This is a question to Debian developers.

Yes, just try that.

You can also try flatpak version of Mpv
