Installed today onto a Dell OptiPlex 3060 and tried all my years of experience to break it doing all the things that usually do but it doesn't. Excellent effort.

A few items you might want won't download directly from the Software Center but you can just use Synaptic instead.

Always install Synaptic.
Helps for HP driver install.

This seems to be a UEFI only version - certainly when it comes to Virtualbox anyway.

Yes, this bug is now fixed, image "q4os-5.0-x64.testing-r2.iso". Download https://www.q4os.org/downloads2.html

Thank you.
Having tested in UEFI so far this does look like a very nice release. OK I'm no fan of Plasma but I could be converted - it seems a lot less 'fragile' than before.

To danielson the HP drivers are also in the software center. Synaptic at least in my opinion should be installed by default rather than having to use the software center or Discover. If the software center or Discover has issues some users might not have any recourse. Experienced users will know what to do but npt inexperienced ones.
To bin Plasma hasnt been fragile for quite some time and offers a level of customization you dont get with many other DE's.
