How often does Q4os check for updates

Hi all, I was wondering how often q4os is set to check for updates by default, and is it different for Orion/Scorpion?

My guess is it would run on some sort of schedule, I haven't checked everywhere cron/apt/dpkg logs etc but i thought some one would know. I was just wondering if I left a system on 24/7 how often it would check by default. I know I can install cron-apt and configure /etc/cron.d/cron-apt to fix a schedule how I would like it, but if the system already checks at adequate (for my requirements) intervals I would not need to do anything, which is my usual preferred option

I figured as q4os full desktop profile has update notifier enabled by default there would be a scheduled update, but I could be wrong.

Apt software database is updated on 24h/daily basis. If you miss an update, it is performed a moment after the next boot.
