Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502   If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Re: k3b-trinity icon is absent

K3b-trinity suffers from a few bugs, we recommend to use another burning software. We are not able to remove it completely from repositories due to dependencies at the moment, it should be done in a future. The install wizard icon rework is already on our todo list. Thanks for reporting.

Re: k3b-trinity icon is absent

I used Brasero before... It made six my brand new Taiyo Yuden DVD discs unreadable! mad Also, I have read on forums, that it made unreadable another users DVD discs too.
So, I switched to XfBurn. What about it? Does it works well on Q4OS?

You should be fine with XfBurn. As far as we know, it's a reliable burning application, although we haven't tested it in Q4OS.

Has development stopped on the Trinity version? Using k3b from KDE adds 100mb as opposed to 35mb

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
