Q4OS Software Center -- show that app is installed (uninstall button)
If you highlight an app in the Software Center that is already installed, change the button's description from "install" to "uninstall". You can add some other feedback (colors, check marks, etc.) as well to show that an app is installed.

If I recall correct this has been mentioned before, I believe the devs were looking into re-writing the Q4OS Software Centre as time/budget permits. I do not know if it is still being considered but this is one thing that would be useful to all users, being able to see at a glance what is and isn't installed.

Would make it easier but unless you have a huge number of apps installed its easy to check/see if its present or use Synaptic to check.
