I can't seem to paste the url, but I find it odd that Q4OS XP desktop is for sale on ebay.co.uk

People sell many pcs on Ebay with various distros installed on them. I bought one recently with Lnux Mint installed but the seller can add whatever he likes.

I saw the auction stroudmw is referencing. This isn't a pc, this is just the OS for use on an existing pc. Burnt to a CD-ROM for install with instructions for adding the XP look. However, kinda looks from the price that they're basically selling it for cost of supplies/fees (it's under £2).

On Ebay you see many distros sold separately where people burn the disks and try to sell them, Mint being one of the most popular.
Having not seen the listing Im not sure who the seller is but maybe the devs should check into it. Paying for something you can get for free, I guess its their choice.
If a distro is free and someone is willing to pay for it, ala osdisc.com for instance then its probably not an issue.

I take that back as I just found the listing on Ebay and the seller is ashshopuk and its evidently an online shop called ASHshop that sells a variety of tech items, selling the Q4XP disks. Theres another listing for Q4OS as well with a guy named magikman I believe. If anyone is reading this thread, please download all of this for free, you dont need to pay these people to get it.

Yes, everyone is welcome to download Q4OS for free from our official source http://www.q4os.org/downloads1.html
Nevertheless, we cannot, even don't want, prohibit anyone customizing Q4OS and selling it on the Internet. Some guys want to create their own product based on Q4OS. If they also provide an extended support or other added value to the product, it is absolutely ok.

The ad in Ebay for Q4XP appears to be just that Q4XP, no changes or customizations and they do offer support.
The other ad appears to be Q4OS as is just being sold
