I just had what I thought was the update package set (most tde packages) for updating to 2.3.6 but get_q4os_version.sh is reporting 2.3.5-n1, is this an oversight or normal and would I need to perform a fresh install to get the full upgrade?

Im assuming there will be installation cds for the new stable version, not just the live cd?

You don't need to perform a fresh install, the 'q4os-desktop' 2.3.6 package is already up in repositories. Anyway, we will recommend to perform the clean Q4OS installation, as the final stable will be released, although it is not necessary.

Initially, there will be live media only available, later we want to release following:
x64/64bit arch:
- live-cd
- installation-cd
- Windows installer
- setup script for Debian based Linux
i386/32bit arch:
- installation-cd
- setup script for Debian based Linux
arm64/64bit arch:
- dedicated images for Pine64 hardware
- setup script for Debian based Linux
armhf/32bit arch:
- dedicated images for Raspberry Pi hardware
- setup script for Debian based Linux

Great work guys! And just to note I updated another machine and it is reporting the correct version now (2.3.6-n1) I noticed an update to q4os-desktop which I imagine fixed it.

Thanks for the update. I find the installation cd is much easier for doing mass installs of which Ive done many recently.
