download NCH video software

i am trying to download NCH video software for my webcam to Skype with and i am asked for an application to use? I dont know what to do

What is the NCH video software? is it available for Linux or just Windows? Could you maybe post a link to what you are trying to install?

P.s. You might not actually need this external software as the linux kernel often takes care of these things for us.

NCH video software is available for Windows, Mac and Android I believe and is proprietary software for purchase but they do have free versions it appears. Its for external multimedia devices such as webcams.  I doubt its going to be in any repos but there could be alternatives available depending on the device being used.

What application is it asking to use?
