Update: Nevermind! I figured it out!
Hi I have a Kodak Verite 55 XL Plus all in one printer and it's Linux compatible. It worked just fine when I had Linux Mint installed. I downloaded the drivers from the Kodak website and installed them. The Kodak printer utility shows up in my menu but when I open it, it just shows the printers connected. There's no shortcuts for scanning or printing and there's no option to make shortcuts. When I had Linux Mint I could click on the app in menu and create shortcuts. Anyone got any idea as to whats going on? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Well I just uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers I got from the Kodak website and I got the printer to work but the only way I could get the scanner to work was to install Simple Scan for Q4OS. I still don't have shortcuts for the Kodak software. Nor do I see any options to make any. But everything is working fine now. The main thing I would suggest is finding a printer that supports Linux.

I tend to stick with HP as its Linux support is excellent.
