Two questions off the bat

I noticed that upon installing the XP Luna Theme they have included a little black arrow when you hover on the Start button. No reason for this. Can this be removed?

I'm looking for a way to insert my own User Picture. Haven't found out how to do this.

To change menu button image ? 

To do this:

1. Right Click Taskbar (in applications running area)

2. Select: Configure Panel

3. Select Menu from left sidebar

4. Click "Change Menu Icon"

Note: When you first right click the taskbar it might say, "Unlock Panles"  - Click and perform steps above.

I use 64x64px images on Start Button

I just installed what is called Classic Luna Theme. I don't know why Linux does this dumb stuff. Again there are black arrows where there should be none. If I open an Explorer window the basic green back and forward buttons look fantastic. But Linux still inserts little black down arrows.

If I have to spend time tweaking and finding out how to remove things like that I'm wondering if it's worth messing with.

Linux didnt insert anything, thats a choice made by the devs who created XPQ4.  I dont use it so cant comment on the situation but certainly contacting them on the XPQ4 page may lead to a fix.

Linux is the larger generic term but individual distros can do whatever they like with their varied projects.
