Hi,
always wanted to try TDE, so I was glad, when I found Q4OS on Linux Welt. Installation went smooth, everything worked fine,
but as I tried to copy my secured data back on the computer, I faced problems. Krusader did not recognize external devices,
although they're shown on desktop and My Computer. After a while I found out I can copy them to Documents, but as I tried to copy a new file on the USB-stick
I got again that message the place does not exist, although selected folder was shown in the window.
Installed pcmanfm as emergency exit and was successful.
But there must be a better, regular way, by any means there should be a way to copy files via crusader. I am missing Dolphin and the f3-function.

External drives are mounted under /media/yourusername/
They appear in Krusader. Possible that they are formatted with some weird filesystem, but if they mount when inserted and you can see them on the desktop then they should appear as shown above.
Did you download the latest version from Q4OS.org or was it an older version hosted by Linux Welt?

Krusader did not recognize external devices ...
Please try to click on the "Open the available media list" icon quite left-top, straight below the Krusader's main menu. It will show and open all available media devices.
I am missing Dolphin and the f3-function.
You could install "dolphin-trinity" package from package manager or terminal:
$ sudo apt-get install dolphin-trinity

I installed dolphin trinity soon after going over to Q4os, never had a problem with it.

Don't know the reason why Q4OS did not work on the computer I installed it first, everything runs fine on my main machine, which refused to start properly with solus3, the Q4OS-Refuser runs perfect with solus. Anyway I am lucky with the best for each machine.
