Issues With Chrome

I haven't been able to access several websites with Chrome over the past 2 days. I had to download Qupzilla just to get on this forum because Chrome just locked up. Any ideas? Anything I could check?

Re: Issues With Chrome

I just went into Chrome, which by the way has been updated to Chrome 59. I tried about 15 websites of various types and havent had any issues. Ill continue using it and report back if any issues pop up.  Ive typically had no issues with Chrome.

Re: Issues With Chrome

Tried another 10 sites and couldnt see any issues. You could turn off hardware acceleration in the Google settings, as that can cause issues. Are you using the most recent version of Cnrome?

Heres an older article you might want to read thru and see if anything applies,
www.linuxquestions.org/questions/debian-26/google-chrome-chromium-crashes-debian-8=64=bit-4175574965/

Chrome also defaults to HTML5 with most sites but sites that prefer Flash, there have been some  issues with pepper-Flash bullt into Chrome.
Firefox has had some similar issues with HTML5 versus its Flash plugin.
