I hope to have my website back up and running over this weekend, but thought I would put a post up in case anyone cannot get to one of my site links.
I have to re-write a portion of it to accomodate a major php version change, I will also be making it easier to be updated with new information. I might even use Wordpress and have like a blog style site.

I started to post a note to you yesterday about that, but decided you probably already knew it!
Thanks for the update!

Thanks CC, I tried to check everything before I uploaded and it appeared to me to be ok, but always good to get confirmation.

I seem to be having a problem loading pages on my site, they are taking anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds to load. Has anybody else noticed this? I'm just wondering if the problem is at my end or not...

Just checked - very slow loading here in the states. Of course, with wannacry active I sometimes feel lucky when any site loads!

Thanks JimW, I will have to look into the reasons for it, I am guessing it is my free hosting provider wanting to make me change to paid hosting...
btw, what does this mean?

Wannacry is a widespread ransomware program thats causing a lot of issues in particular with the UK health system and with Fedex here in the states. There are many other issues on the net that are also causing slowdowns.

Just checked the site and its definitely down or extremely slow as I cant get onsite at all. Given the m any server issues in the UK caused by a variety of attacks and ransomware, they may have been affected.

Sorry about the lack of knowledge here, my excuse is I've been busy and only taking in the main headlines of the news and they didn't name the malware that caused the issue. Thanks CC for good info on the situation.

I posted two articles here onsite in this forum for anyone who wants to read about ransomware issues.
I work for two other sites so I get a lot of tech news daily.

I posted on the host forum and my site seems to be working ok now, no idea what the cause was though...

Last night I spent all night checking websites and very few were working except for open source/Linux based sites. Youtube was my friend late night due to the many issues elsewhere.

I think it was a tweak from the host as it got fixed shortly after posting to the forum about it. My guess is it was a simple configuration setting that needed fixing, they have a complete new control panel and I had to "migrate" my site to the new one so probably still a few bugs to iron out.

At least you got it sorted out and no malware issues,
