Is there any way to automatically refresh konqueror after deleting a file/folder?
Offline
It usually refreshes quite well but occasionally I have noticed it doesn't, you can simply press F5 to refresh the konqueror display.

I read the SD cards from my game cameras with a USB adapter. After copying the files to my computer I delete the folder on the SD card. It almost never updates. I have to go up a directory and re-open the USB drive to ensure the folder was deleted.
However, it always (as far as I can remember) refreshes when I delete a folder on the local hard drive.
Just thought I'd add my input!

In icon view mode it just leaves a hole.
In detailed list view it does move the list to close the gap.

Is there any way to supress automatically refresh in konqueror after saving/storing a file in the folder that is currently shown?
Let's say, there are currently shown the 1000 files in a specific folder in konq. When i store a new file in it, konq will eagerly auto-refresh and i have the work: to scroll and search and think about alphabetical order, is it more above, is it more down, is L before K, is q after p and so on - to locate it cumbrously.
Why not simply append the new file at the end of the view-list? Would be such a great help for me.

Mine refreshes most of the time, with only the odd occasional issue, and I use F5 as Dai mentioned.
