Hello all,
I'm new to q4os (but I have been using Linux for years and Raspbian on pi). I tried q4os following a thread on the Trinity mailing list and I am impressed by the speed but... there are quite a few programs in the repositories that won't install.
Mostly they are related to tde's PIM and mail: kmail-trinity, kontact-trinity and others either complain at once for unmet dependencies, or or bomb at install saying I have broken packages and held packages - I did not do anything yet but select and install in synaptic!
I'm using q4os 1.6.3-rpi. As I read some posts recommending using kmail-trinity on this forum, I's guess kmail should install? Am I missing something?
Regards,
Thierry

Dependencies are now fixed, you can install the desired applications. First you have to update packages list from synaptic or terminal:
$ sudo apt-get update
Please report back, if everything works now.
EDIT: This temporary issue related only to Raspberry-Pi/armhf repository, now fixed.
