keymap bug

I've installed q4os but the characters which appear when I type don't correspond to those on the keyboard, eg when typing the letter 'o' the number 3 appears. I'm using the British keyboard.

I hope this can be fixed because everything else works flawlessly and I really like the distro.

Thanks guys, I'm using an old netbook and the number lock was indeed the problem. Problem solved!

Kudos to the developers of Q4OS; I like it so much I'm considering using it on my desktop pc also. I really hope you guys get lots of business because you deserve it. I don't understand why it isn't more popular, but then I can also see that it's geared more towards Windows users (perhaps looking for alternatives to XP), rather than "old time" Linux enthusiasts.
