The other day I posted a screenshot of my Openbox WM showing Dreamchess. Since then, when I start dreamchess, it opens to a black screen, and the only way to close it is type the kill command. It opens that way from the menu and cli. When I open with cli, it doesn't show any information while it running.
"$ dreamchess
DreamChess v0.2.0 (r577)"
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thnx.

Dreamchess probably wants to run in fullscreen mode. Edit file '$HOME/.dreamchess/options.xml' and change the line '<full_screen>On</full_screen>' to Off. Alternatively start from a clean configuration:
$ mv $HOME/.dreamchess/options.xml $HOME/.dreamchess/options.xml.backup
You can run with more verbosity:
$ dreamchess -v3
or
$ dreamchess -h
to print cli options

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what happen but after a reboot, the game seems to be working okay. If it happens again, I'll try your suggestions, Q4OS Team.
