Trouble Getting Corsair H2100 Headset to Work

Hello.
I've been messing around with a Q4OS live USB lately, and there's still one thing that I need to get working. It's my USB Corsair H2100 headset. I've installed several Pulseaudio packages and pavucontrol, and the device is referenced in both that and Kmixer. But the problem is, there is absolutely no sound output.
What is the way to get this working?

Also you could check the sound is not muted, that has caused me some problems in the past when I thought the audio was not working. And if you have another option in the drop down menu of Kmix, try selecting that and make sure the volume levels are all set correctly. The image below shows the HDA Intel options, while pulse audio shows a single volume level.

Issue fixed--just set default device to ALSA in control panel's sound settings after installing several pulse audio packages.
