No sound

Hi.  Just downloaded latest Q4OS.  I really like the distro, but in the past, as now, I'm having trouble getting sound to work.  Someone once posted the information I need to supply to help solve the problem.  Could I ask you to please tell me again?  It's been a LONG time, and I'm old.  Many thanks.
