Install fail - "Starting system log daemon".
Trying to install 32-bit on an old HP 2510p. The install hangs with a blank screen after
"Starting system log daemon".
This laptop has been running Mint 17.3 XFCE without issue.
Alt-F4 has no effect.
Any ideas?

Press 'Tab' on the boot installation table and add 'BOOT_DEBUG=3' to the kernel boot parameters. Press Enter and look at the messages printed.
The alternative is to install from Q4OS Live CD, see http://dsbnet.tk/index.php
