'Question - Which directory are the Q4OS logo icons stored?

Hi,

I have set up LXDE on Q4OS and would like to use the same logo icon that is used in TDE. I'm having trouble finding it. Where is it stored?

Thanks,

Re: 'Question - Which directory are the Q4OS logo icons stored?

Welcome to the forum smile

The logo used by the TDE start menu button is the icon named q4oslogo2, installed by the q4os-base package in several sizes:

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/<size>/apps/q4oslogo2.png    (16x16 ... 128x128)
/usr/share/icons/breeze/apps/<size>/q4oslogo2.svg     (16, 32, 48, 64)

For LXDE, right-click the menu button on the panel -> "Menu" Settings, and set the icon to e.g. /usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/q4oslogo2.png (pick the size
that matches your panel height). Alternatively edit ~/.config/lxpanel/LXDE/panels/panel, find the Plugin { type=menu ... } section and change its image= line to
that path, then run lxpanelctl restart.

There is also a variant named q4oslogo in the same directories if you prefer it.
