Hello, so I recently downloaded some zip files and when I try to open them in Konqueror, it opens like 2 blank konqueror windows per second and it loops this forever, which forces me to restart my computer. Kind of like the "you are an idiot" popups
If anyone has any ideas to what could be causing it, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you

This looks like a broken MIME association, possibly with ZIP files being associated with Konqueror itself, which could explain the endless spawning of new windows.
Please try the following from a terminal, replacing the path with an actual ZIP file:
$ xdg-mime query filetype /path/to/file.zip
$ xdg-mime query default application/zip
Also try launching the ZIP directly from a terminal:
$ konqueror /path/to/file.zip
If it starts spawning windows again, please post the messages printed in the terminal. That should give us a good indication of what is causing the loop. You can also post the output of:
$ kreadconfig --file ~/.config/mimeapps.list --group "Default Applications" --key application/zip
Normally ZIP files should be handled by an archive manager such as Ark, not by Konqueror itself.
