Hello everyone,
I am reaching out because I have an update that
isn't installing, and I can't figure out why since
there is no error message.
KDE Application Platform
The update to version 6.10 fails; it loops infinitely.
I am using linux version q4os-6.7-x64
Regards

Are you updating through Discover, Flatpak, or the command line or some other tool ?
What exactly is the package name shown in the updater ?
Offline
The update is performed via Discover
and the package name is:
KDE Application Platform
The update to version 6.10 369.2 MiB
Offline
Could you open a terminal and post the output of:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt full-upgrade
$ flatpak update
$ flatpak list | grep "KDE"
Do other updates install normally in Discover.?

Try to clear local cached obsolete data and post back the result.

Hello everyone,
I think I've solved the problem attributed to
KDE Application Platform version 6.10 failing to install
After some online research, seeing that other distributions
had similar issues,it turns out that Tor Browser was blocking
the KDE Application Platform version 6.10 installation with
a request in a loop.
Here's the message: "Can't remove org.kde.Platform/x86_64/6.10,
it is needed for: org.torproject.torbrowser-launcher"
Once Tor Browser was uninstalled, this installation disappeared,
and other updates that I thought were blocked were installed.
Will this help anyone?
