HP desktop with Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 display size problems

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can help me out. As per the subject I have a HP pc with a Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 .

My problem is when I load the KDE desktop my screen is over sized, in other words I can't view all the taskbar, I can only see half it

I've tried using TDE and the scaling tool but no joy.

Any help would be really appreciated

oh and i can't see the tool bars at the tops of open windows.

Ok I tried reinstalling the Intel drivers but that doesn't seem to have helped.....
