[RESOLVED] Installing ClamUI and cancelled halfway through using QSI

Hi,

I seem to have baulked the system. VM of Q4OS 6.6 Andromeda.

Was installing the .deb file for ClamUI 0.1.8 when I remembered I needed to install some dependencies first.

Now when I try to install it I get this message:

"Package system is busy ...

Another package being installed ..."

When it isn't - any way to repair this? Not used Timeshift beforehand - my bad!

Just do a reboot and run:
$ sudo apt -f install

We don't recommend installing non-verified third-party .deb files, it may break dependencies.

Re: [RESOLVED] Installing ClamUI and cancelled halfway through using QSI

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I did manage to sort it. What happened was it stalled and said it could not continue after I had done some commands in the terminal.

My problem now is, I have tried using both the App Image and Flatpak of ClamUI (as ClamTK is no longer maintained?) which work, but when trying to update the database it fails.

Interestingly on 5.9 I did not have this problem. Guess it is a ClamUI problem but ClamTK certainly does not seem to work regarding updates.

Freshclam is installed so don't know what to do from here.

[UPDATE: Removed everything ClamAV and installed the Flatpak version from Discover - Database update now working!]
