Hello everyone,
I'm new here and hope you can help me.
I have the following problem: I installed Q4OS 5.4 Aquarius on a Dell Wyse 5060. Everything is running smoothly. Now I wanted to connect a second monitor. The first and second monitors are not the same size. I simply wanted to mirror the image from the first monitor to the second. This didn't work. I then changed the resolution, which also didn't solve the problem. I tried many things and made it worse. The first screen now has a yellow background, and all the icons are blurry, making them almost impossible to see.
Then I tried reinstalling the same version (Aquarius) using a USB stick. This also didn't work, as I probably need to change something in the boot order, but I don't know where or how to do that.
I hope there's a way to fix this. If necessary, I'll just have to install a new version of Q4OS if that's easier.
I hope you can help me.
Regards, Netzer
P.S. The Dell Wyse is only used for auto-darts.

How exactly did you install Q4OS ?

If you want to reinstall Q4OS, just repeat the steps you did before.

Hello
When I installed Q4OS, there was no operating system on the PC. The USB stick was recognized immediately and the installation started without any problems. Now I wanted to reinstall it, but the PC always boots from the hard drive. My question is, how can I change the boot order? Is there a simple keyboard shortcut for this? Thank you in advance for your help.

We don't have Wyse, so we can't test that. However the following should work:
To change the boot order on a Dell Wyse thin client, restart it and press F12 for the one-time boot menu (quick selection) or F2 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility (permanent changes) where you can find "Boot Sequence" or "Boot Priority Order" in the Boot tab to reorder devices like USB, Network (NIC), or Hard Drive using arrow keys (Up/Down or F5/F6) and then save and exit.

If you are using the TDE version of Q4OS then you are going to experience a whole lot of pain with your plans to mirror 2 different resolution screens over Display Port.
You'll have far more success with Q4OS Plasma edition and you may as well use 6.4 to get the best of KDE as well.
