I can't get horizontal scrolling to work.. when I enable it in the touchpad module and click ok, then open the module again, it's off again.
Vertical Scrolling works like previous versions

1. Run the command "tdecmshell touchpad" in konsole terminal
2. Tick "horizontal scroll" checkbox
3. Close the tdecmshell module
4. Copy/paste all the characters from konsole terminal here

We have to process some more testing to figure out whether it's a Q4OS or a native Trinity bug as we would guess so. We post here some info as available.
In the meantime, we can only recommend you to search for Debian based configurations for Libinput and touchpad not dependent on TDE.

So the bug has been confirmed? I have no experience with drivers n stuff so i really can't tinker with the configs on my own

It's working with xfce so it seems like a Trinity/Q4OS bug to me, config from Q4OS 5 and Q4OS 6 is exactly the same

Not yet, but it's very likely Trinity native bug. It seems the kcm module has memory leak and crashes silently.

TDE R14.1.5 is out, are these fixed yet?

As far as we know it's not fixed. In anyway we will update to the 14.1.5 however it will take a time for careful testing. There are patches we need to check.

@Q4OS Team, can you share more details on how to reproduce this problem?

It's a quite a few weeks. As far as we remember:
- Just defaul install Debian13/Trinity14.1.5 on a notebook with touchpad
- Run "tdecmshell touchpad"
- Enable checkbox and confirm Ok leads to silent crash
- Open the module again, the checkbox is still unticked
The same as the OP:
when I enable it in the touchpad module and click ok, then open the module again, it's off again.
