Windows 7

I have an old laptop running windows 7 that I use offline only for office documents and backups of other devices of mine. Is it safe to install Q4os using the windows installer and use it online for simple web browsing. OR, would the fact that it is installed in windows 7 create safety vulnerabilities and it should be avoided? The laptop will not handle windows 10-too old. Thanks

Yes, it's safe to use it online, vulnerable Windows will not affect Q4OS security in any way.

Great, thanks. It's by far the best distro that I've tried and being able to utilise the laptop for windows files too is just what I need.
