opengl screensaver conky flickers through

As the title suggests I am having problems with my conky flickering over my screensaver, the actual data is not displayed but as you can see from the short attached video the area usually occupied by conky is flickered through. Any ideas?

EDIT: video too big, will grab frame and post back

I already use "double_buffer yes" and "own_window yes". It's not conky that is the issue, I think it is OpenGL because normal screensavers function without this issue, only OpenGL savers have this effect.

I got this in lspci

VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

using i915 driver

EDIT: According to the spec sheet it is a Intel® GMA 4500

I will have to look into it further I think, I'll just use the non-OpenGL ones for the time being, it's not like i sit here watching the screen when doing nothing

Well, would you believe I just installed tdescreensaver-xsavers-trinity and tdescreensaver-xsavers-extra-trinity and now I have my favourite (GLMatrix) screensaver and everything works well!! That saved me wearing google out
