Hi to everyone. Question about Discover. When I install a program within Discover, it sees it. No problem. But when I install a program using Discover as a .DEB installer (e.g., using it to install Vivaldi Browsers' .DEB file), Discover doesn't see Vivaldi as an installed application. This doesn't happen with other programs such as GNOME Software Center. Why Discover? Far as I can tell, this has been an issue for a long time. Any insight as to why this hasn't been fixed? Thanks.

If youre going to install Vivaldi as a .deb you can use GDebi which works with no issues. Vivaldi is also available as a Flatpak in Discover.
