I have installed Q4OS from the live system on the only hard drive (ssd) on the computer. After rebooting only the BIOS shows up.

Usually one has to hit a specific key (F2, Del...) to make the BIOS appear.
- Do all the keys have good contacts and do they come back after you push on them?
- Are you using a desktop and can you try another keyboard?
- What does happen after you exit fro the BIOS?
- Are you stuck in the BIOS or are you able boot again from your installation media?
I would try to make the installation again and look carefully for error massages.

Did you change the boot order to Q40S?
Normally after installation you have to disable fastboot and secureboots

Sometimes the bios will show up in diagnostic mode if it thinks theres a problem. Is the drive in good condition and is your system UEFI or legacy?

BIOS is set to UEFI and secure boot is disabled. Other distros like Mint, Pop! OS, Manjaro and Nobara had no issues. It‘s only Q4OS that doesn‘t boot after installation. I have tried to install this distro several times without success. There must be something special going on.
