I would like to know if in your opinion you should make a donation to the project Q4OS or directly to the TDE project.

Hello there!

I have been using Q4OS as my main OS for the last 8 years. I would like to make a small donation. I would like to pay by Credit Card, however, right in the beginning, in the dropdown list my country Turkey is not listed. Even Tuwalu is there. Any idea?

I believe that Turkey has issues with Paypal which handles the credit card transactions but the devs may have more info.

I am considering donating to Q4OS and would like to do so using only my debit card.

Unfortunately, when I choose this option, I am directed to the Paypal site where I am requested to provide private information (address, phone, email...). I will not do this. I do not have any cryptocurrencies and I will not create an account on Patreon or Liberapay either.

Since you are in Czechia, which is part of the SEPA countries, it is certainly possible to make a bank transfer if one knows the bank account information such as IBAN, BIC... and the accepted currencies (ideally EUR). Is it possible to update your dnt_donate.html page to provide this information?

A SEPA payment would be possible, but we don't want to accept donations via direct payments at the moment.

We are planning to pass Q4OS project to a new non-profit that will cover development, so the payments options will get a change. An idea is to accept payments via common Google pay and Apple pay channels as well as direct bank account payments.

This will also enable Q4OS project to be more transparent and open to public.

I would never use a debit card or direct bank account payment as you have no protection if someone gains access. Credit cards offer that extra layer that is even safer than using services like Paypal. Ive had the experience already of having my debit card used against me so just be aware.
