Q4OS win-installer is compatible a works fine with Win11. We have tested it on multiple machines.
1. Booting Q4OS live media, see https://www.q4os.org/dqa018.html . Do not proceed installation, only create and boot Q4OS media and run the command in terminal https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.ph … 631#p28631
2. Some new Windows machines may use ReFS filesystem instead of NTFS. So check C: drive properties, if it's NTFS or ReFS.

Both of the 2 laptops that I have been attempting to install q4os from within Windows use the NTFS file system. One is loaded with Win 10, the other one is loaded with Win 11.

Yes, they are.

So it would be helpful to run the command "lsmod" as we mentioned before.

I was able to use the q4os imager and successfully created a bootable usb drive for the Trinity Desktop. After setting my bios to boot first from a usb the q4os live trinity desktop loaded right up. There are no instructions about how to install q4os after viewing the live version. There is an "Install Q4OS" icon on the desktop. I double clicked on that and the Q4OS Aquarius Installer did come up but with this message on the welcome screen: "This computer does not satisfy some of the recommended requirements for installing Q4OS 5. Installation can continue, but some features might be disabled." What features? Also, will this installer allow me to keep my Windows 11? In other words, will the installer let me set up a double boot with a dedicated partition for Q4OS?

Actually there is instruction even in very first time boot (Q4OS wellcome screen-more options-Document), there you'll find How to in general way.
What profile installer you have choose? if you choose LIVE then that kind of message shouldn't pop up.
But if you choose e.g FULL then that kind of message will pop out if you're not installing within internet connection. I have type several steps that you may need (in the 2nd post/reply that I don't know why my post has been deleted without a single reason!) before, If you do like what I've mentioned there, you should be just fine and yes dual even triple to quad boot is available (mine have 3 now), and yes Windows will still there as main, as long you don't touch/messing windows Efi boot manager.
* If this post get delete again, I need a make sense reason why? I just try to help other as I can. or am I not allowed to do so here?

I have successfully installed Q4OS Trinity on my Win 11 laptop but I have had terrible difficulty in getting the WiFi to work! I have spent days trying to configure the WiFi with no luck at all. Why is my internet connection not automatically recognized? It runs just fine inside Win 11.

Please give more information:
- how did you try to configure your WiFi and at which step did the configuration fail?
- run `inxi -SNxxx` in a console and post its output.

Have not been able to run Desktop Profiler because I can't get online. This installation has never recognized the wifi abilities of this pc. I have a screen shot of what you asked for. I will attach it.

It seems no driver is installed for your network card. Open a terminal and run `sudo apt install firmware-realtek`.
If you need to know before what it is, you can run: `apt info firmware-realtek`.
Not sure if you'll need to reboot.
I can't help further on how to configure WiFi on Trinity Desktop, because I'm using only Plasma.

Since not much info from you, i suggest you don't mess with what you have no idea yet...
Before running or edit any script or commands, first simply You can use wired connection use your Android phone to make update & upgrade, try to do first :
sudo apt update
make profiler, simply choose basic, then..
sudo apt uggrade
reboot
then, recheck your wlan connection, try to make new connection and input your ssid manually lets see then..
*Btw, in windows we (controled user) paid for it with limitation, in Linux (user's control) we (can) make it for our need
