Whatsit do: Mouse or Tab to any-app-input-box, then hit Ctrl+Alt+s
"t-y-p-e--s-t-o-r-e-d--t-e-x-t" appears !
Magic ? No,,, its simply repeating pre-recorded keystrokes (s) "type stored text".
How ? I installed "AutoKey" program, and/or System-Settings ShortCuts ?
Which is it ? The documentation was written sometime last century !
Then we remember 'MS Windows AutoKey' !!!
Then Popeye spoke 'me thinks Debian-based-distro is all-U-need'.
Could somebody explain/clarify this difficulty !
Please ?

Configure AutoKey to modify / delete that shortcut, or don't launch it at startup, or uninstall it if you don't need it.

Thanks hchiper.
AutoKey - seems OK. Just a little "over-coded", I liked AutoKey version "1" :>)
What about System-Settings / ShortCuts ? Appears to suit the same functions as AutoKey ??
I certainly prefer to utilize System functions,,, like "ShowHiddenIcons", thus avoiding 3rd-party problems.
Also found;
"....just set custom keyboard shortcuts through the keyboard pane in settings (IDK which distros have this and which ones don't so..."

What about System-Settings / ShortCuts ?
In the search bar, type the text "Ctrl+Alt+s" to see apps using this shortcut.
Appears to suit the same functions as AutoKey ??
I don't know. I have almost no idea what the different parameters mean there (using the French translation)

Ctrl+Alt+s is the shortcut "trigger" to the APP "Smiley Selector" .
( I don't have an APP with that name ??? So, It does nothing )
You try:
Roll the shortcuts column down to CommonActions, Edit, Cut, Paste, etc.
Confusing ??? I'm an old programmer, but I don't speak GEEK !
I want to add a new 'paste' "ElmersGlue" to Ctrl+Alt+=
Thats exactly what AutoKey does !
Simply click into any open box and key in Ctrl+Alt+= and "ElmersGlue" will appear.

Did you disable that shortcut to see if it solves your "t-y-p-e--s-t-o-r-e-d--t-e-x-t" issue?
Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately, in Common Actions, I have no Edit, Cut, Paste entries. I have only Affichage (= Display), Aide (= Help), Configuration (= Settings ?), Fichier (= File), Modifier (= Edit?) and Navigation (= Browsing?). I'm using Q4OS 4.
Note that it's not a problem for me, because I don't use auto texts.

So, what is the need for System-Settings / ShortCuts ? Why bother ? Autokey is the answer.
Take a peek in the Ubuntu libraries... many sorts of keyboard apps, in 99 languages !
To adopt Autokey, It must added to the Q4OS startup procedures. How do I add it ? With System-Settings ?
I searched for Autokey "how-to",,, no such thing. I'll search other topics for start-up procedures.
You don't use "auto-texts", but I appreciate and thank you for your assistance.
