Re: Q4OS 5.7 Aquarius

Which version of Trinity does this include? Do the new versions of Q4OS already include 14.1.2 or even 14.1.3?

Thanks. When can we expect 14.1.3 out of the box? Last time I tried upgrading to 14.1.2 on Q4OS manually a lot of stuff broke for me.

Re: Q4OS 5.7 Aquarius

14.1.3 will be included into Q4OS 6 as soon as Debian 13 Trixie becomes stable. Q4OS 5 Aquarius will keep 14.1.1

Re: Q4OS 5.7 Aquarius

Quick question for the Q4OS team - why not update KDE to Plasma 6?  I understand Q4OS is based on Debian releases.  I get that.  But why not just upgrade the desktop experience?  Why stay on an older version of Plasma when newer versions have been shown to be just as stable?  Also, while I'm typing here, another question: Why not release a few more editions of Q4OS with specific desktop environments (e.g., MATE) ready to go?  Like "spins" or "flavors."  I think that would really help with the popularity of Q4OS itself.  Release maybe 2 or 3 additional editions of Q4OS with different desktop environments to appeal to different users.  Like GNOME, MATE, and XFCE.  Altogether, there'd be 4 total editions of Q4OS for a wider audience.  Thoughts?  Thanks for your work, too.

Because of stability and to save development resources.

We don't have enough development resources to maintain and test all such spins. It's really time-consuming to thoroughly test any new release to ensure quality.
