Wifi not working correctly on a Dell latitude 620

Hello, sorry if I did anything wrong but I am not a linux expert.

I installed Q4OS on my fathers old Dell latitude 620 using a usb stick. He just needs it to browse the net. I used the acquarious trinity live iso and completely formatted the pc.
After installation i tried choosing the full feature profile, but while downloading stuff it started telling me that he ignored some packages because it took too long to download
I received the same errors trying to execute "sudo apt-get update".
Apparently the download speed is around 4kb/s, sometimes reaching 20kb/s. Of course usually the network is not that slow, not on this pc when it had windows xp nor on other pcs at the current time.

This is the "inxi -Fxxx" command output:

Re: Wifi not working correctly on a Dell latitude 620

I tried formatting and reinstalling from scratch while connecting with an ethernet cable. The problem persisted.
I followed this guide, since apparently my network card is supported:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW0f3NOjWys
but after doing it all and restarting the system where i could try the wifi it just didnt detect it as a possibility no more. Like the led of the wifi itself was turned off, which is usually only possible with a phisical button on the side
