Good morning everyone.
I have an old Asus transformer T100TA on which I have successfully installed Q$OS 32bit.
The processor is 64 bit but the bios is 32 bit.
Do you think it is possible to install the 64 bit distro?
Do you think my Asus would be better?
Thanks for the help.

Yes it's possible, you need to install from the 64bit install-cd https://www.q4os.org/downloads1.html

Thanks a lot for the information.
- Can I use Rufus and a normal USB pen?
- Do you think it is useful and worth doing a new installation to take advantage of 64 bits?
Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience, I am now getting to know this operating system that I like very much!!!

Yes, however you should use a recommended way https://www.q4os.org/dqa018.html

We don't think you will get some advantage unless you need a specific application what operates 64bit only.

Thanks for the very quick replies.
At this point I think I won't upgrade.
The little T100 behaves very well and all the peripherals are well recognized.
- Only small problem: the touchpad scrolling operated with 2 fingers doesn't work.
- Is it possible to make a save / backup of my operating system for a possible future restoration?
- which application can I use?
Congratulations for the work and passion you put into q4os!

Yes, you can use S4-snapshot application, see https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3624 , however it's available for 64bit systems only.

Thanks 1000, but it's still too difficult for me, I'm a 61 year old "newbie".
I'll use it with a usb mouse....it's easier
