Conexant audio driver

Hello,
i know some of you here are running Q4OS on notebook computers. Some of them (HP, Lenovo, Dell...) have a Conexant soundchip on board.
I personally have never heard of this company (which went bankrupt in 2014, but their chips were used still until 2016/17) so if anyone here knows about (in)compatibility with Q4/Debian please let me know!
Thank you!

Re: Conexant audio driver

Ive got a number of older Dell Latitude laptops that use Conexant and Ive had no issues with sound support.

Conexant was purchased in July of 2017 by Synaptics which is a fairly common sound chip/codecs  in many systems.

Im running Q4OS 5.6 KDE presently.
