Need help to change Mouse Cursor Size

Hi again all.
I'm using the XPQ4 XP Trinity Desktop and I need to increase my Mouse cursor size.
I've been to Control Center Peripherals and Mouse and I saw Cursor Theme and picked my
Cursor theme but no place to resize it bigger. It is really tiny and I can barely see it. So how do I resize it bigger?
Thank you very much in advance

Re: Need help to change Mouse Cursor Size

Unfortunately, I can't answer because I don't use TDE/XPQ4.

As @crosscourt answered 2 days ago to another of your questions about XPQ4, you could contact XPQ4 devs. That's indeed written on the first line of their webpage (https://xpq4.sourceforge.io/) just under the main title.

Otherwise you could browse TDE configuration tool again, looking for a setting for the cursor size.
With Plasma it is "nested" in Appearance / Cursors; where you can choose a cursor theme, and the size selector is just a small drop-down list at the bottom of the window.

Re: Need help to change Mouse Cursor Size

Wow I thought this is still the Trinity Desktop of Q4OS.
And therefore all the settings would be the same as the basic Trinity
Desktop. I never knew that this developer had moved where all the settings are. Is there another cursor theme that I can add via the terminal that would have the size adjustments? I just looked again in Control Panel Peripherals Mouse Cursor Theme and you can choose your cursor theme but there's no down button to change cursor size anywhere

Re: Need help to change Mouse Cursor Size

If you go into Synaptic package manager in  TDE/Q40S, and type in big-cursor(if it doesnt come up just type cursor) youll find this is a package that can be used in X, that provides larger cursors for use. I havent seen any settings for changing cursor manually in TDE.  If this one doesnt work, you may be able to find some other cursor theme that will and install it.

Re: Need help to change Mouse Cursor Size

Hi
Sorry about the long reply.
I actually saw big cursor in Synaptic and installed it, but I found no way to open it even though it
said that it installed. I also saw Oxygen cursors and that also installed and showed up in the list in
Control Panel Peripherals Mouse Cursor Theme. But Big Cursor is nowhere to be seen. Is there a way that
I can try to open it via the Konsole?

Re: Need help to change Mouse Cursor Size

Indeed the big cursor package isnt showing up in the peripherals/ mouse section of the control center.  Its possible its not compatible with Trinity as Ive used it before in KDE with no issues.  I use KDE as its far easier to customize than it is in Trinity.  You may be able to find  a package that is compatible in TDE.
